Ep. 148: Fighting For The Planet! Eco-Terrorism In Games!

Hey there Cubies! While eco-terrorism is rather common place in other sources in media, it is not a typical plot point in games. Or if they are, they are almost. an after thought in the story. But there are a couple games out there that actually have in the forefront and make it an essential driving force for the characters, motivating their decisions as they move through the story. One that has done so in a way that is approachable and makes you think on a deeper level is Final Fantasy 7. Growing up up it was just a fun game to play, but now learning and thinking about all the nuances really hit hard. Then of course the government gets involved with Thunderbird Strike! They even tried to call for an investigation against those that funded this game!
