Hey there Cubies! Recently the question of "can game be isolating?" has been brought up to us. To many people video games can appear to be a way to keep someone from being social in any. way shape or form. We still have that stereotypical image in our mind of someone playing games in a dark basement all by themselves. But games have evolved to be a way for people from different walks of life to come together. They give us an instant connection with another person, something to talk about and build a friendship from. They allow us to chat and play with people from the opposite side of the globe, and through these experiences we can even learn about other cultures, or even more about ourselves.

Hey there Cubies! Final Fantasy 16 is right around the corner and we are so excited for this new installment into the franchise! We wanted to go through our wonderful memories of all the Final Fantasy games we have played through. They have been apart our childhoods and now they continue to be apart of our lives. Hey There Cubies! Nostalgia plays a huge role in our show. Last week wee chatted about Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom and used that as an opportunity to relive our experience with the franchise as a whole. So this week we wanted to talk about a console that has some strong memories for us, and that is of course the N64! The N64 brought families together and showed us the glory of 3D worlds in some of our favorite franchises. Plus any game with the "64" added to the title was bound to be amazing. Hey there Cubies! Immersion is something that all designers try to create in their games. It gives the player the illusion the game is alive and that all choices made by the player matter. While a lot of this is just an illusion created by the designers there are some games out there that push this to new heights. Games like Rain World use AI to generate everything from the animations to the behaviors that the animals follow. We are starting to see more games using AI in the creation process, but what else can it be used for? Can it make a truly endless game? Make NPCs react to everything changing in their world, all the while based on their behavior patterns? The possibilities are truly endless.
